Meghan: Librarian-in-Training |
Brooklyn, NY |
This week takes me from Miami to New York to Indianapolis; from 75 and sunny to 15 and snowy.
This week:
- I had brunch with 3 of the greatest friends
- started my last semester of library school
- I picked up another cold
- attended a fantastic birthday party
- relaxed, & watched football
Tonight, I need to:
- pack
- fix my fingers and toes
This sums up my Thanksgiving break very, very well.
Just booked the flight to Miami.
This will be the craziest President’s Day weekend…ever!
Also, another for the list.
WARNING WE DID LAUNDRY IN FRANCE!!! WARNING
It took a minute or two to figure out the automated system, but after that, it was a wash.
Shakespeare & Company, possibly the greatest bookstore in the world. Writers and poets can come to stay, sleep and work. Books are hidden in nooks and crannies. Beds are placed below bookshelves. Typewriters are scattered throughout. I could move in tomorrow.

Follow our travel blog at http://MeghanandtheBeard.com. It will be a thrill ride through New York (duh), Spain, France and other various, not so exotic places.
We used AirBnB to book our apartments for the Barcelona/Paris trip. Booking was easy and fast.
I’ll report on the apartments when we get back, but the one in Born, Barcelona looks amazing.
Clothes to pack. T minus 8 days.
Note: These are all likenesses of my clothing. Not the actual pieces. My green dress is much cuter.
So soon!

I spent a fair amount of time at the beach in the past year. In 2011, I vow to travel more & use my passport. She feels neglected. With so many places in the surrounding states I haven’t seen, next year’s list should be fun.
