week in review, 1/1/21

Started Social Fact by John P. Wihbey and The 26 Words That Created the Internet by Jeff Kosseff.

Started and finished The Bride Test by Helen Hoang. A contemporary romance between a man with autism and the match his mother brings back from Vietnam for him.

Finished These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong. This retelling of Romeo and Juliette set in 1920s Shanghai is layered with mystery, family duty, and love.

As a graduate student, I’ve found Dr. Pacheco-Vega’s blog to be helpful. His post on linking theory with research design eased some nerves this week.

I managed to catch up with Keep It!

I started and finished Bridgerton and it was exactly what I needed.

So many watercolor tutorials on YouTube. Clarice Gomes is particularly good and I love their style.
